CONTENTS

Here you will find a general overview of what you are going to learn.

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • understand the main ideas of complex texts (oral and written) on both concrete and abstract topics.
  • interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
  • produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

 

GRAMMAR

Nouns, pronouns and noun groups. Revision and extension from B1.

Adjectives and determiners. Revision and extension from B1 (e.g. omission, uncountable singular words, invariable…)

Adverbs. Revision and extension from B1 (e.g. probability, all/every, neither/nor…)

  • Health and physical care: Parts of the body, doctor’s appointment, describing diseases
  • Education: objects, environment and actions (e.g. stapler, emergency exit, sign up…)
  • Shopping. General and specific environments (shop/mall…), prices, sizes, actions (offer, reduce…) objects (label, purse…)
  • Food and drink. Tools (frying pan, tablecloth…), actions (boil, chop…), ingredients.
  • Goods and services. exchange money, open up a bank account, public services…
  • The weather, environment and nature.
  • Science and technology. Computing, image, social networks…

SCHEDULE

You can choose between:

  • English B2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 07:00 or 17:00 Berlin (15:00 or 01:00 Sydney), and
  • English B2 on  on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00 Berlin (18:00 Sydney).

PRICES

COURSES and LESSONS

Level B2Intermediate. (4th year school):

  • Group lesson (maximum 4 persons): 6 €/lesson (9,39 AUD).
  • Semi-private (2 persons): 7 €/lesson (10,96 AUD).
  • Private lesson (only one person): 12 €/lesson (18,79AUD).

TEXT/HOMEWORK CORRECTION:

  • Level B2: 0,03 per word (0,047 AUD/word).
