CONTENTS

Here you will find a general overview of what you are going to learn.

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
  • deal with most situations likely to arise while travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
  • produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest.
  • describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

GRAMMAR

Nouns and noun groups. Besonderheiten. 

Nominalisierung: -er, -ung, -in.

Pronouns: Indefinite, subject, direct, indirect, genitiv, reflexive, relative.

Adjectives and determiners: Agreement (subject, direct, indirect, reflexive), attributive, predicative, adverbial, comparatives and superlative.

Definite/indefinite, demonstratives, possessives.

Adverbs and adverbial phrases

time: jetzt, früher, bald, im Laufe…

place: hier, dort, dorthin, weit weg…

Verbs and verbal tenses

Present simple. Alle Besonderheiten.

Present Perfect.Alle Besonderheiten.

Imperatives

Modals: können, wollen, müssen, dürfen, sollen, möchten. Present and  subjunctive II.

Past simple (sein, haben, kommen, sagen).

Separable, irregular and reflexive verbs.

Passive voice

Verbs with prepositions

Subjunctive II (würde)

Prepositions. Genitiv: wegen, während, trotz, (an-)statt.

Dativ: aus, bei, mit, von, zu, seit, nach.

Akkusativ: für, gegen, ohne, um, durch.

Linking words: wann, als, ob, obwohl…

Word order: Coordinate and subordinate clauses (RelativsÄtze, Konditionalsätze…)

SCHEDULE

You can choose between:

  • German B1 on  Mondays and Wednesdays at 07.00 or at 17:00 Berlin (15:00 or 01:00 Sydney), and
  • German B1 on Tuesday and Thursdays at 10:00 Berlin (18:00 Sydney).

PRICES

COURSES and LESSONS:

  • Levels A1, A2 and B1. Basic and pre-intermediate. (Till 3rd. year school):
    • Group lesson (maximum 4 persons): 5,50€/lesson (8,61 AUD).
    • Semi-private (2 persons): 6,50 €/lesson (10,18AUD).
    • Private lesson (only one person): 11 €/lesson (17,22 AUD).

TEXT/HOMEWORK CORRECTION:

    • Levels A1, A2 and B1: 0,02 € per word (0,031AUD).
