CONTENTS

Here you will find a general overview of what you are going to learn.

YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • understand the main ideas of complex texts (oral and written) on both concrete and abstract topics.
  • interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party.
  • produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

 

GRAMMAR

Nouns: Gender, number, case. Particularities/particular declensions.

Articles and pronouns:

Definite/indefinite articles. Indefinite and “zero” articles.

Indefinite pronouns.

All personal pronouns. Difference between determiners and “real” pronouns.

Question pronouns and articles.  

Verbs and verbal tenses. All previous ones plus:

Futur I

Modals: können, wollen, müssen, dürfen, sollen, möchten. Present and  subjunctive II.

Past simple (sein, haben, kommen, sagen)

separable, irregular, reflexive verbs

Passive

Verbs and adjectives with prepositions

Subjunctive II (würde)

Word order in main clauses: syntax (subject, predicate, direct and indirect objects, adverbials, etc.)

Prepositions with different cases/declensions.  

Changin prepositions.

Coordinate clauses and linking words.Word order.  

Subordinate clauses and linking words. Word order.

All types (Subject, object, relative, conditionals…)   

Infinitive clauses with/without zu.

Sprüche (intro).

VOCABULARY

Personal information and relationships. Personal data, physical description, character and personality, appearance, professions…

House and environment in deeper detail (furniture, household chores, renting, finding a flatmate…)

Daily routine: describing your job, responsibilities, likes/dislikes…

Free time and leisure: Cultural and intelectual interests, personal hobbies, arts, cinema, sports…

Travel: Public and private means of transportation, holiday and tourism, different ways of travelling, necessary things/actions to travel…

Culture and tradition.

Health and physical care: Healthy live, medical care, insurances…

Education: Training, personal development, cultural level…

Consumption and commerce: Consumer habits, infrastructure…

Diet: healthy food, cuisine…

Goods and services. exchange money, open up a bank account, public services…

Environment and nature: describe local aspects, climate change, global climate, terrain…

Science and technology. Modern technologies and communication, new discoveries…

SCHEDULE

You can choose between:

  • German B2 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 07:00 or 17:00 Berlin (15:00 or 01:00 Sydney), and
  • German B2 on  Mondays and Wednesdays at 10:00 Berlin (18:00 Sydney).

COURSES and LESSONS

Level B2. Intermediate. (4th year school):

  • Group lesson (maximum 4 persons): 6 €/lesson (9,39 AUD).
  • Semi-private (2 persons): 7 €/lesson (10,96 AUD).
  • Private lesson (only one person): 12 €/lesson (18,79AUD).

TEXT/HOMEWORK CORRECTION

  • Level B2: 0,03 per word (0,047 AUD/word).
